Manwol (만월) is a gang that formerly ruled over Yeongdeungpo prior to the Union.
Description[]
Prior to the Yeongdeungpo Union's formation, Manwol was the gang that ruled over the Yeongdeungpo area. Chungil Lee made contact with Manwol, as evident as how he considered them to be airheads when he saw Donald's business paperwork.
Kenny Ji was a low-ranking executive of Manwol. A year prior to the start of the series, Kenny wanted to leave the gang life behind but Changyeon wanted to recruit Jake. Kenny refused resulting in his excommunication and Manwol beating him up, and unfortunately rendering him unable to run and crushing his soccer dreams.
After the Union defeated Manwol, Myles began making secret deals with them, leading to his excommunication. Myles ultimately became the new leader of the remnants of Manwol.
Uniform[]
When they first appeared in a flashback in Episode 39, Manwol was depicted wearing long grey jackets with dark grey fur hoods. In dark grey characters were "Full Moon" on the back written in Chinese (满月, Mǎnyuè).
When they appeared in Jake's Backstory, they are shown to not have any uniform, although Changyeon Lee wears a black jacket with a black fur hood, a yellow moon the back, and black characters writing out "Full Moon" in Chinese.
In Episode 200, Hayong Jeong thinks that if he can't handle the problem he has with Jimmy, he won't be able to eventually wear Squad 1's uniform, as he pictures the jacket Changyeon wears.
