Jinu Kim is Gerard Jin's friend and the former keyboardist of Slam.
Appearance[]
Jinu has dark brown hair and black eyes. One year ago, he had bangs hanging above his eyes. Present day, his hair is styled into a militaristic hair style. He is older than Gerard and is at least nineteen years old, the minimum age requirement to join the South Korean military.
Personality[]
Jinu cares about his band mates and considers them to be his friends, even after Slam disbanded. He was worried about Gerard and he was hospitalized and visited him and left a box of juice. He hates it when Gerard gets into fights and when Gerard and Hyeonjin argue.
Plot[]
Episode 135[]
Gerard bumps into Jinu, who is now in the military. They hang around and catch up for a bit and Jinu says he is surprised to hear that Gerard is singing again. Gerard says it is a strange day because he was just on his way back from the shopping complex when he bumped into Jinu; it feels like a travel back in time to last year. Jinu receives a phone call and has to go back to work. He tells Gerard that maybe one day, the band will get back together again. He says they had some good memories and to forget the bad ones.
Episode 137[]
Jinu scolds Gerard for injuring his finger and is upset that he's getting into fights more often. They pass by Greenfield and Jinu says they need more than just talent to make it there and that they need connections. Gerard brings up Sinma Entertainment. They arrive at Dorim Shopping Complex and realize no one is there yet. Jinu says that he has a lot going on right now, it's hard to pay for the practice room, and Hyeonjin keeps taking everything as offensive. He wants Gerard to at least try to get along with Hyeonjin and says the two of them may be tall, but they still act like kids. He notices Sangman and Hyeonjin's arrival.
