Forrest Lee (이세한, Lee Sehan) is a first year and the newest head of Hyeongshin High School and a member of the Yeongdeungpo Union after the dismissal of Myles Joo. He is a supporting antagonist of the Webtoon Weak Hero serving as the main antagonist of the Hyeongshin Arc.
Appearance
Forrest has dark red hair styled into a signature spiky hairstyle, and is above average in height in comparison to the other characters, being similar in stature and size with Ben Park. His eyes are dark brown, although usually since they're small they appear to be black, and oftentimes the whites of his eyes are shown to be reddish. He wears a matte black jacket with black pants, not adhering to the Hyeongshin uniform.
Personality
In front of those who are weaker than him, Forrest takes pride in beating them down to maintain his image as a powerful figure of Hyeongshin, such as his scuffle against Evan Yoo and giving Alex Go a tough time during their fight. However, with his superiors (namely Donald Na and Wolf Keum), Forrest is more subservient and finds it hard to act tough when encountering them. According to Eugene Gale, Forrest is known to be more cunning and sly than Myles Joo.[1]
Despite being Myles' most trusted companion, Forrest snitched to Donald in order to rise in rank. According to Donald, Forrest is too laidback and complacent, which eventually led to Scorpion betraying Hyeongshin.
History
It is unknown if Forrest attended the same middle school as Myles Joo, Naemun Middle School, but it is shown that he was already close to Myles back then.
Sometime prior to the start of the series, Wolf beat up Forrest due to the latter breaking his three second rule.
Plot
Hyeongshin Arc
After Yoosun is defeated, Donald Na orders Forrest to take down Ben Park. Forrest has all Hyeongshin students attack any Eunjang students on sight in order to psychologically pressure Ben. He initially intended to only take down Ben, Alex, and Gerard, but after Gray defeated Team Three, he also targeted the White Mamba. Once the four are split up, he sends groups to attack them. Forrest goes after Alex , and eventually Teddy, too, when he gets involved. Forrest's group is winning against Alex and Teddy, but after Ben arrives after defeating Robin's group. Forrest is no match for Ben and is completely overwhelmed. Due to his loss, Donald punishes Hyeongshin by having them managed by Wolf Keum and Ganghak.
Ganghak Arc
Forrest, Robin, and Grape go to Ganghak, but Forrest tells Grape to stay downstairs because he knows about Grape's middle school trauma with Wolf. When Wolf tells them that he's going to postpone the expenditure payment, Forrest reminds him that Donald said to manage the money, not take it for himself. Wolf tells him to wait since they are searching for them. Forrest threatens to tell Donald if it gets delayed any longer, angering Wolf. Wolf grabs him by his hair and reminds him that if it weren't for the no infighting rule, Forrest would be long gone. As Forrest and Robin leave, Wolf tells them to bring Sam next time.
Mok-Ha Duo Introduction Arc
Forrest, Robin, and Grape are heading to Ganghak to bring over the money and the files, but they are ambushed by Myles Joo and Manwol at Sinjeong Bridge. Myles calls out Forrest snitching on Donald about the secret deals he made with Manwol. Forrest denies it but Myles points out how he had only told him. Myles orders them to leave the money and files and they'll be allowed to leave scot-free, but Forrest refuses. Forrest overpowers the two Manwol guys that target him, and he angrily tells Myles that he got excommunicated for stirring shit at the Union assembly. He lunges at Myles, but Myles easily overpowers him. Manwol defeats Hyeongshin and steals the money and files.
Donald slaps Forrest multiple times when he reports the theft to him. He tells him when he loses a fight, he can have a rematch; with money, it's different because it can disappear into thin air. He says Forrest should've asked Wolf for help, even though it is obvious that Wolf would never help them. He orders Forrest to ensure every Hyeongshin member is at the upcoming assembly, and then dismisses them from his office.
Forrest attends the Union assembly at the Han River with the rest of Hyeongshin. Donald reveals Scorpion to be the traitor who tipped Myles off that Forrest would be passing through Sinjeong Bridge and calls Forrest too complacent and careless.
Union VS Cheongang Arc
Hyeongshin is stationed at Mapo Bridge along with the Mok-Ha Duo. Forrest can’t believe that the Mok-Ha Duo actually defeated Myles. When Jaeryeong and the Action Squad try to go through the Mapo Bridge underpass, Forrest fights some no name fodder characters for an hour until the fight is stopped after a deal had been made.
Manhunt Arc
Dongha orders Hyeongshin around like lackeys and tells them to pick up Eugene from the location Dongha had left him unconscious. They search around and eventually confront Rowan, Teddy, and Gerard. Gerard initially fights Forrest, but Ben is the one to finish him off after he arrives.
Han River Battle Arc
Forrest fights Colton Choi. Colton frustratingly holds up well and is still conscious by the time Ben and Gray arrive.
Aftermath Arc
Forrest attends Donald's funeral.
Relationship
Grape
Grape is one of Forrest's two friends that he trusts. During the Hyeongshin Arc, he has Grape lead the group in charge of hunting the White Mamba. After Hyeongshin is placed under Ganghak's management, when Forrest, Grape, and Robin go to Ganghak to deliver the files, Forrest has Grape downstairs so he doesn't have to face Wolf because he knows of Grape's trauma.
Robin Ha
Robin is one of Forrest's two friends that he trusts. When Robin says he wants to be the one to fight Ben, Forrest allows this and thinks he'll win. After Hyeongshin loses and is placed under Ganghak's management, Robin offers to bring the files to Wolf instead because he knows Forrest had been beaten by Wolf in the past.
Myles Joo
Forrest knew Myles back when they were in middle school, and Forrest eventually became Myles' second-in-command. Myles trusted him to the point where he told him about his secret deals with Manwol; however, Forrest's desire for power outweighed their friendship, and he snitched to Donald. Myles was excommunicated, and Forrest became the new head of Hyeongshin High School. Myles would continue to hold his grudge against Forrest, and he ambushed Forrest, Robin, and Grape at Sinjeong Bridge. For old time's sake, he did offer Forrest the chance to leave unscathed if they just handed over the money and files, but after Forrest rejects the offer, Myles and Manwol beat the three of them up.
Scorpion
Scorpion used to be one of Forrest's inner circle members who was trusted enough to lead his own group of students to take down Gerard Jin. However, Scorpion held no loyalty towards Forrest and was conspiring with Myles behind the scenes. He was the one who informed Myles about the route they were going to take to deliver the money and files to Ganghak. After Scorpion was exposed and beaten, Forrest wondered if Scorpion was even still alive, indicating that they haven't seen each other in a long time after the assembly.
Donald Na
Like everyone else in the series, Forrest fears Donald Na's overwhelming strength. Donald thinks that while Forrest is not as competent as Myles and Forrest lacks a presence, it makes him perfect to keep under his control. The small punishment Donald gave to Hyeongshin after losing to Eunjang means that they’re not even worth his time and that Donald doesn’t give a damn about Hyeongshin.
Ben Park
Forrest considers Ben Park to be an enemy. He was always annoyed when Myles refused to crush Eunjang because he didn't want to benefit Phillip Kim. Forrest underestimates Ben, as shown when he let one of his second-in-commands fight him instead. He also intentionally targeted Alex Go knowing it would anger Ben.
Phillip Kim
Abilities
Mental
During Forrest's fight with Alex Go and Teddy Jin, it was revealed that Forrest was a trash talker who wanted to get into his opponent's head, such as the instance when Forrest caught Teddy in a chokehold and started calling Alex a coward for running away, and stating that it only became a two-man beatdown when Alex ran back. Forrest also often compares himself to Myles Joo, saying, "You guys always had Myles Joo's schlong in your mouths, but do you know what is in Myles's head? Nothing. All that idiot's made of is inferiority." He also uses rumors to strengthen his presence and intimidate others, such as when it was rumored that he was the same strength as Ben Park.
Physical
Forrest is very strong and has a fair amount of skill in fighting. Rumors suggested that Forrest may be the same level of strength as Ben Park,[1] though this rumor was squashed after Ben comfortably defeated him. Against some fighters like Alex or Teddy, Forrest overpowered them in terms of strength. Forrest may be stronger than the average person, but gets overpowered in fighting prowess, such as when Wolf beat Forrest helplessly.
