Chapter 266 is the two hundred sixty sixth chapter of Weak Hero. It is the 139th chapter of the third season.
Synopsis[]
Gray is lying in bed. His phone is on his desk and the screen lights up with a notification that Jeremy Park has sent him a message.
Wolf is sitting on a bench at a park. A flashback shows that Hwangmo had informed him that Jake has decided to leave the Union. Hwangmo says that because he heard it from Naksung, it should be accurate information. He receives a phone call from Kingsley. The flashback ends.
Wolf recalls the park being the location where he attended his first ever Union meeting. Jimmy arrives and asks why Wolf is there since he joined the loser Rebellion. Wolf calls Jimmy a fly and asks if he wants to be knocked out again. Jimmy, being delusional, accepts the fight.
Kingsley throws two bags in between them and tells them to stop and open the bags. They find money and files inside. Kingsley tells them to reorganize the kids and draw up a plan, saying that it was Donald’s final order before the Han River Battle.
A flashback shows Kingsley asking Donald if he seriously needs to do that, including Wolf Keum’s share. Donald tells him to just do it because Wolf is the only guy that can handle Ganghak. He says while the Union is reorganizing, he is going to gather everyone up again. Kingsley asks if Wolf really will bow his head and rejoin, but Donald says that if he says something will happen, it will happen. The flashback ends.
Jimmy asks if Wolf really is a part of it and Wolf tells him to shut up and collect the scraps. The two begin arguing but Kingsley once again stops them, and he says that although Donald isn’t there, his rules still stand. As he leaves, he says to stay put for now and to come to Yeouinaru when called. Wolf takes his bag and leaves.
Jimmy picks up his own bag and notes that Donald is still acting like a king even after dying. He recalls how in the end, no one had been able to defeat Donald and now no one ever will. Donald has become someone who can’t be surpassed.
Ben, Alex, and Gerard are at Gray’s apartment building and Ben has just finished talking to someone on the intercom. Ben says that Gray’s mother is worried but Ben decided to give Gray some space and that they’d come visit Gray when he is feeling better. Ben says that Donald’s death has been quite shocking for him and it can’t be helped that old memories come flooding back.
Ben asks if Eugene is awake and Gerard confirms it. Gerard also mentions that Teddy and Rowan are already there. The three head to the hospital to visit Eugene. Ben thinks that Gray is capable of overcoming his despair.
At the hospital, Eugene is holding his prototype light switch model and is surprised because it had been completely broken. Rowan says it seemed like it was important, so he brought it with him. Rowan recalls Gray telling him that the light switch was important to Eugene and to take care of it. He also recalls how the light had been used to temporarily blind Donald.
Eugene says the final battle and Donald’s death still doesn’t seem real. Teddy mentions that Ben even attended the funeral, surprising Eugene. Eugene and Rowan agree that it’s really in character for someone like Ben. Ben, Alex, and Gerard arrive and Ben brings a box of juice. Ben mentions that since Eugene and Gray aren’t at school, it’s been feeling empty lately.
Eugene recalls all the times he had hung out with Gray. He thinks that becoming Gray’s friend was the biggest miracle of his life. As soon as he gets discharged from the hospital, Eugene plans on visiting Gray immediately.
At his apartment, Gray finishes drinking a glass of water and grabs his phone. He is shocked when he sees the message from Jeremy.
