Chapter 265 is the two hundred sixty fifth chapter of Weak Hero. It is the 138th chapter of the third season.
Synopsis[]
Gray hallucinates a darker version of himself in his reflection who blames him for everything. Dark Gray points out how Gray knew Donald’s eyes were weaker than most people’s, how Gray gathered information regardless of the subjects and read books regardless of the genre, and how despite using every underhanded tactic possible, Gray still lost.
Dark Gray points out how Gray was able to hear the hidden meaning behind Donald’s words: Donald had wanted Gray to please stop him because only he can do it. Gray begins to cry and Dark Gray mocks him and tells him that Eugene, Stephen, and even Donald were all put in bad situations because of him. Gray is sweating while shifting around in bed, constantly denying that he is at fault.
At the funeral hall, Jimmy says that the mood is gloomy and Jack asks him if Kingsley has said anything else. Jimmy says that Kingsley will divide and distribute the remaining funds, and that Kingsley is acting like it’s some severance pay. Jimmy doesn’t understand why Jake is gloomy as well.
Jake and Kingsley are standing in front of Donald's and Sua’s urns. Jake asks Kingsley what he’s going to do, and Kingsley says the ending Donald wanted wasn’t this. He wants to maintain the Union for at least Donald’s memories, but Jake reminds him how Donald had disbanded the Union. Kingsley says that was his emotional choice but the Union is Donald himself, so it’s only right to continue it. Jake says that Donald wanted to eventually stop from the very beginning. Kingsley begins to cry again as he says that Donald didn’t want to stop like this. Donald’s niche is right next to his mother’s.
The gang notices how Class Five is empty. Ben says nothing much happened at the funeral and how Alex had run all the way there because he was worried about something happening, but in the end Alex didn’t even go inside. Alex mentions seeing Wolf outside.
They recall Eugene has finally woken up and Ben plans to visit after stopping by Gray’s place. No one has been able to get into contact with Gray, but Gerard knows where he lives since they had stopped by after Gerard had gotten a haircut.
Ben sees Colton, Manshik, and Evan heading to the rooftop to smoke and advises them to quit as the gang leaves. Colton’s group overhears some students talking about how Colton had fought Forrest. Evan comments that Colton will probably become ranked on the Shuttle Patch.
When they reach the rooftop, they see Phillip there, who asks if Gray didn’t come to school today either. Colton confirms and offers him a cigarette, but Phillip declines and says he quit. Colton leaves and says he’ll quit smoking too, and that his friends should also quit since smoking causes your bones to decay.
A flashback reveals that Phillip couldn’t bring himself to attend Donald’s funeral, and Alex had caught him crying outside. The two grabbed some coffee and Phillip tells Alex to not tell anyone that he saw him. The flashback ends. Phillip recalls how he had stood by Donald’s side in the past and begins to tear up again.
Evan comments how there are no more events left, but it’d be perfect if they went on a school trip right now. Manshik asks what school trips are there in November, but Evan shows him a post where Gangnam High is on a school trip.
At a rest stop near the seaside, Jeremy Park buys some coffee and heads to the bus where his class is. He thinks he had recognized someone in the coffee shop, but wonders if he had seen wrong.
