Chapter 264

Chapter 264 is the two hundred sixty fourth chapter of Weak Hero. It is the 137th chapter of the third season.

Synopsis[]

All of the Union members are attending Donald’s funeral. The only ones crying are Kingsley and Dongha, although it is unknown if Dongha is crying about Donald’s death or the loss of income. A brief flashback reveals that Jimmy’s whole “wagging wrist” thing was him copying Donald Na. Jimmy realizes that all he had wanted was for Donald to recognize him.

Kingsley had done all of the funeral preparations even though he is the saddest and is taking it the hardest. He falls to his knees and recalls how, on the anniversary of Sua’s death, Donald still continued to work and wouldn’t let his sadness hold him back, so Kingsley had followed suit and buried his emotions as he arranged Donald's funeral. Jake kneels down beside Kingsley and comforts him. Kingsley screams and demands to know why Donald had left them.

Elsewhere, Teddy says it doesn’t feel real and it’s as if he has just woken up from a dream. Gray has skipped school again. Teddy asks Alex if what he said earlier is true, and Alex confirms it because if Ben decides to do it, he won’t back down.

Ben arrives at the funeral hall, shocking everyone. Kingsley furiously yells at him, but Jake reminds Kingsley that Ben is there just to pay his respects. Ben places a white rose amongst the others. Ben doesn’t know the reason, but he feels as if he should be attending the funeral.

Outside, Wolf and Hwangmo are wearing suits and watching the funeral hall from afar. Hwangmo asks if they’re really not going to go in, but Wolf says it’s fine to just look from a distance. Wolf exhales his cigarette smoke and tells Donald farewell.

After the funeral, Jake tells Ben that Donald probably didn't think of this outcome because no human would calculate when they will die. Jake says while it may be hard for Eunjang to understand, Donald had been the dictator of Yeongdeungpo as well as a huge wall. Jake asks how the White Mamba is doing.

Ben recalls how Gray had been the one to call an ambulance for Donald. He says for Gray, watching someone get hurt in front of him overlaps with his past and his trauma comes out, but Gray did everything he could for Donald. Jake says he’s sure Kingsley is also aware. Jake thinks that Ben’s heartfelt actions are redirecting the flames that were facing Eunjang to himself, and at the same time helps kill the flames. He can understand how Eunjang totally trusts and believes in him.

Gray is in his apartment’s bathroom and has splashed his face with water. He hallucinates someone in the mirror saying that everything is all because of him.
