Synopsis[]

Two high schoolers discuss middle schoolers acting like they own the place. One of them says that although it looks like they’re winning with just numbers, the person on top is the real deal and that even Manwol is being careful around him.

Three high schoolers have attacked the members of Donald’s gang, so Donald beats them up. The high schoolers claim that they did it because they needed to pay Manwol’s fees. Donald tells them to not tell anyone what happened today and to live quietly because if word gets to Manwol, he’ll kill those three first.

Chungil Lee asks his assistant if the contract was handled cleanly. The assistant says that there are kids who do the dirty work without questioning it and since they’re kids, they can do it without leaving a trace. Since the kids they hire aren’t directly related to them, it is easy to cut them off if things go wrong. The assistant shows him Donald’s photo. Chungil is surprised that it really is a kid that’s behind everything because the level of planning and execution isn’t typical for kids. The assistant informs Chungil that half of the kids go to school and the other half doesn’t. Chungil says without anyone backing the kids, it’s hard to pull what they’re doing off in Korea, but at least the kids are smart. Since Manwol is being too cautious, Chungil is looking to change things up and asks for the kid’s contact info.

Myles and two people are breaking into a building while Donald gives instructions over the phone. They cut the CCTV lines and copy the hard drive.

At a construction site, Donald is on the phone with Chungil Lee and confirms that he has received the money. Chungil wants them to do more work, but Donald says that his gang hasn’t settled down yet and lacks the people and experience. Donald tells him that as soon as his gang settles down, to contact him again; he tells him to call him Manager Na. The call ends.

Myles and two unnamed guys have beaten up Donald’s stepfather. The bastard asks Donald why he’s doing this to him and says that he raised him. Donald recalls the abuse he had endured in the past and hits him as thanks. He points out how several loan sharks are looking for him, and that those people will find good work for his stepfather and contact him. Since it’s been three years since his stepfather ran off with Sua's life insurance money and he never once checked on him, Donald breaks three fingers as interest.

At Yeowon Elementary School, Mr. Jeong sees Donald in his office. Donald congratulates him on getting married. Donald says the head of school affairs has been relieved of his position and imprisoned due to someone collecting evidence on him. Donald is saddened about the lies the teacher wrote on his school records, but the fact that Mr. Jeong made Donald’s mother stay in the morgue for two days is unforgivable.

Several teachers receive shocking evidence revealing that Mr. Jeong has been taking bribes with a secret bank account, released tests, forged grades, touched parents, and has even touched students inappropriately. The information is as recent as him meeting a woman yesterday. Donald reveals that he has sent all of the evidence to the board of education and Mr. Jeong’s fiancée. He says someone like Mr. Jeong can never win against a beggar who has nothing to lose. Donald exits the elementary school and tells Myles to have the guys wait at the parking lot.

Myles and his two guys beat the living shit out of Mr. Jeong and destroy his car. Myles mentions that Mr. Jeong’s family has a lot of dirt so Mr. Jeong shouldn’t do anything rash.

Donald watches the beating from the roof of a nearby building. When it comes to doing business with students, he needs to be close to the source. It’s not hard to get some informants but explaining the plan to guys who can’t understand it is just a waste of time. Even if he can get them to understand, he can’t control the variables. Looking at the big picture, it is difficult to overcome the limits because he also needs to be part of a school for certain business contracts. He also recalls how his mother had wanted him to attend middle school and wear a uniform like the rest of the kids.

There is only so much Donald can do with just the guys he recruits on the streets. He needs someone to manage people inside the school when he’s not there. He needs someone with a great brain to manage and maintain them. Although they have never met yet, a shadowed panel of Kingsley is shown.

Trivia[]
