Chapter 258

Chapter 258 is the two hundred fifty eighth chapter of Weak Hero. It is the 131st chapter of the third season.

It is the second part of Donald Na's Backstory.

Synopsis[]

Seungjae and his friends insult Donald and then walk away. Seungjae is upset that Donald didn’t drop out. It is revealed that Seungjae is second place in terms of academic ranking in the class, while Donald is first place.

At the start of class, the teacher asks Donald where his jacket is. Donald didn’t know that the students were supposed to wear their jackets today. Seungjae says he notified everyone through a group text but Donald doesn’t have a phone. The teacher tells Donald to clean the central hallway on the upper floors so the inspector doesn’t see him.

While Donald is busy cleaning, Seungjae passes out hamburgers his mother has bought and everyone sings him happy birthday. Donald is stuck cleaning up after the party. He doesn’t need any pride because it’s a luxury. Donald’s teacher forces him to massage his feet. While Donald does so, the teacher writes a negative review on his school life record. The teacher gives him a bag full of moldy bread.

Seungjae’s mother wants her son to get into the advanced class but only the first place student, Donald, can get into there. Seungjae’s mother bribes Donald’s homeroom teacher with an expensive Rorex watch. Even though the teacher gave Seungjae the answers beforehand, Seungjae still only scored second place. Seungjae’s mother is a powerful person.

Seungjae and his friends beat up Donald and accuse him of cheating. Donald doesn’t fight back because he wants to show his mother a photo of him wearing a Yeo-Il Middle School uniform and can’t let a fight mess things up on his record. Seungjae says he’s going to tell the teacher that Donald cheated.

On the way home, Donald sees his stepfather on his knees begging for a loan shark to give him more time to repay his debt. Donald notices the loan shark is covered in tattoos and thinks they’re revolting and disgusting.

The next day, Donald is called into the conference room. The admin ask him to tell the truth if he knew the questions on the test beforehand.
