Chapter 256 is the two hundred fifty sixth chapter of Weak Hero. It is the 129th chapter of the third season.

Synopsis

Donald, despite his injured state, defeats Myles and all of Manwol. He says Myles knows better than anyone else what the path he had walked was like. A flashback shows Donald’s gang in its early years beating up high schoolers, breaking into cars to steal watches and jewelry, and already on Manwol’s radar. Myles has known Donald since the beginning and has beaten up a guy Donald has ordered him to. The flashback ends.

Donald says they’ll end Myles’ resentment there and doesn’t cripple Myles for old time’s sake. Donald leaves Myles with his unconscious members in Han River Park. As he walks down the road, he recalls his mother giving him some chocolate in a distant flashback. He takes out his chocolate bar and eats a piece.

The gang have finished eating and are walking across an overpass. They talk about visiting Eugene tomorrow. To the extent that everything feels like it doesn’t matter, Gray feels so free now, until he hears Donald’s voice from below.

Donald calls out to Gray and draws the gang’s attention. Donald wants to fight Gray one more time. The gang notices that Donald’s even more injured than before. Gray realizes that a truck is incoming and yells at Donald to move to the side. The gang is horrified as Donald is struck by Truck-kun.

Donald hasn’t fully registered that he has been hit and wonders why he’s flying. He wonders why Gray is looking at him with a worried and panicked expression. He recalls how Gray had solved his S-level question and had also tied for first place with him during the middle school Olympiad last year.

Donald wonders if they could’ve been friends if they had met earlier and imagines a world where he and Gray are friends attending the same school. He lands on the asphalt with blood spilling from his head. Gray calls Donald a crazy bastard.
