Chapter 25

Chapter 25 is the twenty fifth chapter of Weak Hero.

Synopsis[]

Donald Na is on the phone and speaking to a company business partner. He is facing his window and, without even turning around to face him, asks Helmet what is he doing at his office. Helmet informs him that Jimmy Bae took an independent commission from Phillip Kim and attacked Eunjang on his own and lost.

Donald tells Helmet he got the message and dismisses him. He had planned to clear things up with Jimmy soon anyway, and now he has a reason. He recalls the school name, Eunjang, and wonders if it was "that hooligan" whom he had fought last year in middle school.

Gray Yeon is at cram school and Lily Nam wonders why he wasn't in class yesterday. She thinks that Gray is more intimidating than she had thought and wonders if there's some story he can't tell anyone. He compares the incident of Gray intimidating Helmet akin to a single deer pressuring a hyena.

Hugo Yoon is speaking with his friend and glancing over at Gray. He recalls that Helmet is now gone from the area and notes that Gray is very dangerous. His senses tell him that not just Helmet, but Jimmy's entire crew looked down; he wonders if Yoosun's status is getting compromised. Hugo tells his friend that he doesn't understand why Helmet was completely terrified and how the situation ended without any further action. He can't believe that Gray is the White Mamba.

Hugo thinks he could take on Gray and become a Yoosun delinquent. His friend warns him that it could be dangerous due to Helmet's reaction being almost like a bread shuttle in front of his designated delinquent. Hugo says that all the idiots Helmet beats up are losers and that maybe they were overestimating his strength the whole time. Hugo's friend thinks Hugo is holding onto meaningless fantasies and thinks he's a dumbass.

Gray is existing class and a camera shutter sound draws his attention. Wesley Song has secretly taken a photo of Gray. A flashback shows Wesley talking to a classmate at Byuksan High School and mentioning that he saw Gray there. Wesley's classmate doesn't believe that Gray would be peacefully studying and thinks he's under a rock somewhere suffering from mental health issues. The classmates further doesn't believe Wesley's claim that Gray is in the regular class instead of the advanced class. Wesley reminds him that Hero Cram School's advanced class doesn't consider students who aren't from private schools or special-purpose high schools. Wesley's classmate says he'll believe him if he takes a photo.

Back in the present, Gray confronts Wesley after he uploads it to Sunstargram. Gray angrily demands to know why Wesley did that. Gray recalls memories of his middle school days.
