Chapter 243

Chapter 243 is the two hundred forty third chapter of Weak Hero. It is the 116th chapter of the third season.

Synopsis[]

Ganghak has never seen Wolf clenching his teeth and actually trying to beat someone before. They watch as Jake dodges all of Wolf’s swings. Jake uppercuts Wolf and ducks when Wolf tries to immediately punch him. Jake kicks Wolf in the stomach and sends him to the ground.

A flashback shows Myles Joo and Jake Ji sitting with each other. Myles tells Jake he doesn’t want to fight Wolf again because there are things that he will only think about but never do, but Wolf does them in his own way. The flashback ends.

Jake thinks fighting Wolf gives a vicarious thrill, just like fighting Ben. Wolf kicks Jake in the side and grabs his jacket yet again. He goes for the face but Jake catches Wolf’s wrist. Jake tells Wolf that he’s near his limit and Wolf’s fighting style gets old fast.

Jake punches Wolf in the face. Wolf grabs Jake’s head and attempts to knee him, but Jake kicks his knee to change the trajectory. Jake fakes a kick with his right foot and turns it into a flying punch. He wants his opponent to block or dodge, but Wolf punches Jake in the face while getting hit because blocking and dodging isn’t Wolf’s style, so feints are meaningless

Jake thinks he needs to do something Wolf won’t see coming. He dodges and blocks Wolf’s punches. Wolf pulls his arm back for another punch and all he can see is Jake’s face. Jake strikes him in his blind spot while dodging the punch. Before Wolf can punch again, Jake grabs his wrist and kicks him in the face.

Wolf, one of the best fighters on the Rebellion’s side, goes down in flames at the hands of Jake Ji. With that, the scales have tipped undeniably toward the Union.

  • Three members of Cheongang that guarded the Octagon are shown reacting to Jake and Wolf's fight. It is unknown if these are the actual Cheongang members, or if character models are just being reused. They have the same faces and the blonde one has the same tattoo as the guard from Cheongang; the only difference is their clothes are slightly altered.
