Chapter 238

Chapter 238 is the two hundred thirty eighth chapter of Weak Hero. It is the 111st chapter of the third season.

Synopsis[]

A flashback shows Ben telling Gerard that Jimmy moves really well and is good at dodging and striking. If Jimmy had been more collected until the end, Ben’s fight against him would’ve been much harder. Ben tells Gerard that when he goes up against him, start by getting him worked up. The flashback ends.

Gerard kicks some soda atop a nearby trashcan at Jimmy, spilling it all over the latter's face and clothes. He says it's payback for Jimmy throwing the soda at him previously. Jimmy angrily throws some punches, but Gerard jumps back to create some distance and kicks him. Jimmy uses a shoulder roll to block the kick and punches Gerard across the face. Jimmy tells Gerard that he’s not on his level. Gerard smirks and tells him to get his head out of his ass because Jimmy can’t take on Ben.

A flashback shows Gerard asking Gray for techniques to use on Jimmy that can get through boxing shoulder rolls. Gray tells him that would be Gerard’s specialty: kicks. If Gerard is worried because Jimmy blocked him once, he should use dirtier kicks. The flashback ends.

Gerard uses a low kick to hit Jimmy’s left shin. Jimmy dodges Gerard’s next low kick, but it is a fake and Gerard delivers a left hook into Jimmy’s face. Jimmy strikes with several punches and Gerard kicks him away to create distance once again.

Jimmy says that Gerard is starting to piss him off. Gerard thinks that every one of Jimmy’s hits are brutal and his bones ache even when blocking. Gerard doesn’t want to admit it, but he can’t deny that Jimmy’s blows are causing a fear to creep over him. He needs to find a groove and try to finish it all at once. He has to provoke his own self so that it overpowers the fear.

Gerard kicks Jimmy twice in the body, making it so Jimmy instinctively protects it. He throws his final kick, shocking Jimmy when it changes direction. Gerard’s kick is a Brazilian kick, but Jimmy catches it.
