Chapter 236 is the two hundred thirty sixth chapter of Weak Hero. It is the 109th chapter of the third season.
Synopsis[]
A flashback shows Kingsley attending Yeo-Il Middle School as a first year. An announcement tells all class presidents and vice presidents to go to the teachers’ office after class. The principal tells Kingsley to give an entrance exam explanation session on behalf of the first years and to include some thoughts on going up to second year.
While walking in the hallway with the head of academic affairs, Kingsley sees Donald sitting in the library and thinks he seems familiar. Kingsley asks the head of academic affairs why Donald is sitting there instead of going to class. The head of academic affairs says that Donald came this second semester as a special welfare case due to personal reasons, and the principal himself made a request to overlook his number of absences.
Kingsley asks why Donald came in the second semester and the head of academic affairs says it’s probably due to family issues. It is revealed that Donald blackmailed the principal to let him graduate regardless of his number of absences. The head of academic affairs says that Donald passed all of the exams and tests, and that Donald got the highest score on the monthly assessment test. The flashback ends.
Donald asks if Ben still isn’t there and Kingsley says he doesn’t think Ben is coming. Donald realizes Kingsley is responsible and tells him to come forward. Once Kingsley is in front of him, Donald smacks him across the face so loud that it attracts everyone's attention. Everyone is shocked by Donald’s actions. They know Donald is allowed to hit whoever he likes, but they believe Kingsley is the only one in the Union that Donald trusts completely.
Kingsley doesn’t want Donald to face even a single percent of risk. Kidnapping Ben isn’t Donald’s will, it’s Kingsley’s. Kingsley knows Donald wants everything to be complete as fast as possible. When it comes to reaching that goal, Donald is obsessive enough not to care about getting hurt over and over again, which always makes Kingsley nervous.
A flashback shows Donald coming to the Yeo-Il Middle School student council room, bloody and bruised from a fight against some high schoolers. Kingsley worriedly tells him that there isn’t a reason for him to take that much risk and says the Union can’t be complete without Donald. Donald tells him that one can’t prove themselves with words alone; there are two possible outcomes: victory or defeat. He dismisses Kingsley. The flashback ends.
Kingsley doesn’t think there’s a point in rational judgement when it comes to putting Donald at risk. No matter how minor Donald’s obstacles are, Kingsley believes without a shadow of a doubt that it is his duty to remove those risks. Donald reminds Kingsley that he doesn’t fight if he can’t win and says that Kingsley is worried about nothing. He firmly tells him that there is zero chance for his loss and his victory is predetermined.
Wolf laughs at the infighting. Gerard thanks Wolf for coming, but Wolf tells him to shut up because he only came for personal means.
The area becomes silent. Not a single breath can be heard in the calm before the storm. The cold wind sweeps past everyone’s faces. Everyone knows the signal that will end the silence will come from none other than Donald Na’s hand. Donald says they can’t push the battle off and says he’ll finish his fight with Ben personally. He flicks his cigarette and tells them to start fighting. Both sides start charging at each other. The Han River Battle of October 24 begins.
