Chapter 228

Chapter 228 is the two hundred twenty eighth chapter of Weak Hero. It is the 101st chapter of the third season.

Synopsis[]

Wolf and Hwangmo see the aftermath of Ben’s rampage against Hyeongshin. Wolf wonders if Ben really did it all alone.

All of the Union executives are gathered at Yeouinaru. Dongha is not present because he is hospitalized. Donald is upset by the loss and tells them to not dare go after Eunjang again without his orders, particularly pointing Jimmy out. Jimmy mentions fighting again, but Donald hates the words “fight again” because it is pathetic for Jimmy to refuse to admit that he had lost.

A flashback shows Donald in elementary school being accused of cheating and his hundred percent score on a test being voided. The flashback ends. Donald says there are no second chances because losers have no rights. Second chances are only given by winners in a special show of grace, which is why the fact that he has to accept Ben’s challenge because the executives lost pisses him off to no end.

Kingsley doesn’t think there’s anyone who can beat Donald, but considering how much Ben has grown, there might be an opening. If anything gets in Donald’s way, even if it’s a single fleck of dust, Kingsley will wipe it clean away.

Gray is at Sunny Hospital and sitting by Eugene’s bedside. He closes the curtains the same way Eugene had done for him when he had slept in the classroom before school started. He places the broken parts of Eugene’s device into a paper bag.

Eugene’s aunt, Dr. Kim, gives Gray a box. She says Eugene had bought it a while ago because he felt bad for always being on the receiving end of his help. Gray opens the box, revealing a pair of gloves and a note from Eugene saying for him to wear them when he’s cold. Eugene is comatose due to the psychological damage.

Ben wants to storm over to Yeo-Il, but Gerard tells him to calm down and not to think with his emotions. They begin to argue but Gray breaks up the argument. A heavy silence falls upon the gang, but a phone call breaks it.

Ben answers it and Donald says they will fight on Friday at 9:00 PM at the southern end of Mapo Bridge. Ben knows Donald isn’t an opponent he can just take on with guts. He is scared, but the only person that can take on that monster is him. No matter what, he will give it his all and beat Donald.
