Chapter 214

Chapter 214 is the two hundred fourteenth chapter of Weak Hero. It is the 87th chapter of the third season.

Synopsis[]

Juwon blacks out for a few seconds and wonders what the hell was that. He feels a chill run down his back., but he tries his best to ignore it. He refuses to believe it is real and repeatedly punches Ben. He is sure that it is a direct hit, but Ben is just standing there with a calm look on his face.

Juwon tells Ben to put his fists up, but Ben only blocks all of Juwon’s attacks. Ben tells him to get out of here and says although he may not have fought as much as Juwon, he’s done enough to be sick of it. He tells Juwon that he [Juwon] is at his limit and to not waste his energy.

Juwon is pissed off and charges at him. To Juwon, Jake is an opponent like a wooden sword carved by a master craftsman, heavy but ever versatile and able to attack from unexpected angles. Meanwhile, Ben is like a giant stone pillar and exists in a completely different domain.

Juwon remembers when he had called for backup during a fight, only to have already defeated all of his opponents by the time the backup arrived. He remembers the day all of Mapo was declared to belong to Cheongang. Juwon’s decorated past and his reputation carries extreme weight, but Ben’s steep growth has already surpassed that.

Ben knocks Juwon down with a loud and powerful punch. Juwon remembers the wall as the limit he felt like he’d never be able to overcome, and the overwhelming paralyzing fear he felt as a child when he was bullied by high schoolers. He feels fear towards Ben and thinks of him as a monster as he finally loses consciousness.

For a moment, the Eunjang kids all sense the same thing in Ben’s face. Ben’s eyes are looking somewhere much further away: Donald Na.

At Daehyeon, Timothy informs Jake that Ben defeated Juwon. Jake thinks Juwon chose the wrong guy because Eunjang is no joke.

At Mapo, Changhui notes that Juwon didn’t come back after fighting Ben. He knows whenever there is trouble, Juwon relies on Janghyeok not him, so Juwon probably went to see Janghyeok. He knows the last two fights are difficult for Juwon to accept.

Changhui knows that Eunjang and the Union will clash. Once the battle is over, Cheongang will take advantage of the lull, the moment of weakness. The moment of weakness is going to come sooner or later, and Cheongang is going to take advantage of it.
