Chapter 190 is the one hundred ninetieth chapter of Weak Hero. It is the 63rd chapter of the third season.
Synopsis[]
It begins with a flashback of Julia Chae, Lily Nam, and Lala Lee hanging out during class a year ago in middle school. Julia is narrating, describing Lala's personality as "open about her feelings". At this point, Lala claims to really like Julia for many reasons.
Their conflict begins when Lala asks Julia to cover up her blush so she can be the only one with blush. Julia refuses, thinking it's an irrational request. From that moment, Lala begins to ignore, exclude, and mistreat Julia. Julia takes note that Lala is an overly-emotional attention seeker, which bothers her since Julia herself tends to bottle up her problems. Still, she pretends not to care, assuming Lily can keep her in check.
However, Julia decides Lala has gone too far when Lala casually reveals the large birthmark on Julia's neck in front of Jack and Minjae during a double date, after Minjae complimented Julia's neck. She's going to leave the group, but is chilled when Lala fails to realize what she did wrong, even after Julia gave her "a taste of [her] own medicine" by exposing Lala uses enlarging contact lenses. That's when Julia realizes Lala is instinctively selfish and unable to handle anyone else receiving praise or attention.
Julia later tells Lily how Lala has been treating her, admitting she never liked Lala but draws the line at being publicly humiliated because of Lala's hypocrisy and need to be the center of attention. She says she understands that Lily has been friends with Lala for a long time, but she's unwilling to be around her anymore. She then leaves despite Lily wanting to talk it out more.
It cuts back to the present, where Julia tells Lala she's immature, an energy vampire, and will eventually end up alone without knowing why. Lala is, of course, aghast.
Meanwhile, members of Jailbreak are looking for an empty karaoke room when they notice someone singing well from another room. Sanggu recognizes it's Gerard, who chased him off a few hours earlier. He denies running away because he was scared, and decides to use their numbers to his advantage. The episode ends with him turning the knob to enter Gerard's karaoke room and ambush him with the other members of Jailbreak.
