Chapter 184

Chapter 184 is the one hundred eighty fourth chapter of Weak Hero. It is the 57th chapter of the third season.

Synopsis[]

Chungil Lee notices some thugs he works with lurking around the redevelopment area and scolds them. The driver notices that the scam didn’t work on Singil Vet and Granny’s Kitchen, and Chungil says if they won’t leave, they’ll just have to force them out. He is upset that someone listed the property buyer names without trying to hide that they’re all working for him.

The driver asks why Chungil bought the area nearby instead of the actual redevelopment area. It is revealed that Chungil is friends with Oscar Yang who advised him to buy the surrounding area to reap the benefits without being subject to investigation. Chungil tells his driver that they need a backup plan to lay low if things go south.

Donald is on the phone with Mr. Song. He tells him that the Union will give him the files and says all Mr. Song has to do is get the subsidiary materials to the designated storage site. The call ends. Mr. Song receives the files from the Mok-Ha Duo. As they leave, he catches up to them and gives them a bonus. He offers a secret deal with Dongha to get any information to him a little before anyone else gets it. Dongha agrees and he and Seongmok leave.

Mr. Song’s worker asks if they really have to be paying small fry, and Mr. Song points out how good of a deal it is. Not only is the Union bringing them lucrative redevelopment intel, but they are helping Daegwang sell material that failed the quality control test and was labeled scrap metal to be used for the street lights in the redevelopment area for a higher price. The worker is worried that since the metal is going to be used for buildings, but Mr. Song angrily tells him that no buildings have collapsed and nothing’s a problem until it is a problem.

Kingsley sees Phillip in the hallway of Yeouinaru Office Building. Kingsley tells him the cheap pay is because of what happened with Eunjang. He says Phillip can show up all he wants but he can’t help him. He tells him Donald isn’t there and everything is Donald’s orders. Phillip angrily leaves and wonders what he’s doing because now, all of it means nothing to him.

Dongha calls out to Phillip and asks if he has cigarettes. Phillip answers “no” and Dongha tells him to go and buy some.
