Chapter 181

Chapter 181 is the one hundred eighty first chapter of Weak Hero. It is the 54th chapter of the third season.

Synopsis[]

The academic conference finishes and Gray hopes Eugene is okay. He realizes that he had been feeling anxious because of what happened in the past.

The next day, Minsu asks Eugene if he can borrow his English textbook, but Eugene refuses. Minsu starts to pester him and gets more hostile with his tone, but retreats once Gray arrives. Eugene thinks of himself as a loser who is nothing without Gray. Minsu approaches Gray and suggests a game of billiards, but Gray says he has to go to the teacher’s office after school. Minsu says he’ll wait for him on the rooftop, and Gray agrees.

Eugene asks Gray how the event was and Gray says it wasn’t bad. He asks if nothing much happened and Eugene pretends that Minsu didn’t bully him. He doesn’t want to admit how pathetic he is, and thinks he can’t ask for help for something as silly as this because it wasn’t easy becoming friends with the gang. He doesn’t want them to be disappointed in him and he can’t even imagine being alone again. He thinks his only choice is to hide it.

After school, Minsu goes to the rooftop but Colton and his friend are there. Colton tells him to scram, but Minsu says that he’s supposed to meet Gray on the roof. Colton asks if he’s sure Gray is coming and threatens to beat him up if he’s lying. Colton’s friend looks over the ledge and points out how Gray is walking home and not coming to the roof.

Colton kicks Minsu and punches him, angry that Minsu thought he’d run like a bitch after name-dropping Gray. Minsu claims that there is a misunderstanding and says Gray must’ve forgotten. He says he’ll prove it tomorrow.

The next day, Minsu approaches Gray and reminds him that they were supposed to meet on the rooftop and go play billiards together. Gray asks why he would do that with him.
