Chapter 155

Chapter 155 is the one hundred fifty fifth chapter of Weak Hero. It is the 28th chapter of the third season.

Synopsis[]

Giju sees Wolf on Ganghak's rooftop and remembers how he used to do that often.

A flashback shows Giju on a rooftop watching Wolf fight in the streets below. Chad Won says that the Yeongdeungpo Union is getting out of control and they need Giju to step in as a fellow Guro Tech High graduate. Giju threatens to beat Chad up again like in high school, and he reminds him that he dropped out of Guro after only a year. He tells Chad to handle his own shit and to never contact him again. Giju does think Wolf isn't to be taken lightly despite his age. He thinks he's entertaining, but now isn't the time.

The flashback ends. Giju has a feeling he is going to run into Wolf very soon and drives off.

Wolf wonders who he is. Hwangmo, not knowing about Giju watching Wolf, is intimidated by the silence. He knows Wolf couldn't care less about the Mok-Ha Duo, but if Ganghak loses the business, they lose the commission too. Wolf hates losing something of his, good or bad, more than death. Wolf wonders how well Jake kissed Donald's ass to be given what's already been distributed to others. He orders Hwangmo to tell Naksung to tip him off when Jake is on the move. Hwangmo is worried how he'll do that since Naksung hates him.

Donald and Kingsley are eating sushi at Mokoto. Donald tells Chungil Lee over the phone that he's sending someone to retrieve the Daegwang files, and that they'll host a meeting with Mr. Song afterwards. The call ends. Donald asks Kingsley if Phillip knows the ins and outs of Yeouido and Mapo. Kingsley confirms that his family runs a brokerage firm. Donald tells him to have Phillip send over any available info so they can cross-check it with what they have.

He says he's not one to talk as someone who's taking advantage of pre-acquired information, but the so-called systems are shady. People who make the college entrance exams are quarantined for two months before the test, but real estate development plans are shared between higher ups and their friends and families with no such seclusion and reap the benefits before they're announced. The distributors play monopoly while moral integrity is forced upon the bottom of the pyramid.

Donald recalls a scene in his childhood where he had scored perfectly on tests, but some students had stomped all over the papers. He isn't wearing shoes, and both his bag and clothes are dirty and worn out.

At Ganghak, Hayden laughs at Hwangmo's mission and gives him the phone number of Bucket Hat. Hwangmo calls him, and Bucket Hat says to come to Cafe Omega on Friday night.
