Chapter 148

Chapter 148 is the one hundred forty eighth chapter of Weak Hero. It is the 21st chapter of the third season.

Synopsis[]

A flashback shows Seongjin Cheon and his friends confronting Dongha while he’s alone. They say that they already beat up Seongmok, and ask if Dongha is going to run away like a chicken. Dongha agrees to fight. The flashback ends.

Dongha laughs at Alex and says he’s going to teach him a lesson. Dongha charges at Alex, grabs his hair, and slams his knee into his face. Despite it being one blow, Alex can feel the attack in his bones. Dongha doesn’t like it when wimps look at him.

Dongha feigns a punch and knees Alex in the face again. He dodges Alex’s punch and kicks him away. Alex wonders how Dongha is so fast, and he wonders if he can beat him and even considers running away. Dongha says people like Alex want to run away but stick around and get their asses kicked because of some silly pride.

Alex admits Dongha is strong but doesn’t think he’s stronger than Jimmy. He thinks if he can’t overcome the barrier he feels inside of him right now, he’ll never improve. He forces himself to not get worked up and to focus on making one punch at a time. He manages to land a punch, but Dongha is quick to spin and kick him in the face.

Alex dodges another kick to the face and delivers an uppercut to Dongha. He tells himself to pick up the pace and take control. Dongha grabs Alex’s arm and twists it behind his back. He pins Alex to the ground.

In Busan, Ben freezes and Gray asks if something is wrong. Ben says that he had a weird feeling for a second there.

Dongha tells Alex to beg before he breaks his arm. A loud crack resounds throughout the room followed by Alex’s scream.
