Chapter 136 is the one hundred thirty sixth chapter of Weak Hero. It is the 9th chapter of the third season.

It is the first part of Gerard Jin's Backstory.

Synopsis[]

One year ago, Gerard is attending Do-Eui Middle School. Jeongmu Choi is a bully who is the head of his class. There are rumors that he has ties with Manwol. He decides to target Gerard because if he crushes a big guy like him, everyone else will naturally know who is boss.

Gerard tries to ignore him. People think that if you are big and tall, no one will pick on you, but in a new neighborhood, a new city, or a new school, Gerard is always targeted as a person of interest. He hates standing out against his will.

Jeongmu doesn't have any particular talents. Ever since he was little, he envied and felt inferior to those who had talents. He is always angry for no reason so he fills the emptiness inside by destroying other people's hard work to make himself feel better. If he can't climb to where they are and can't do what they do, he might as well just bring them down.

Jeongmu steals Gerard's music sheets and scribbles over them. Gerard gives up on avoiding conflict and beats up Jeongmu and his friends, establishing himself as the new class head. If he can't avoid conflicts anyway, he might as well flex power and stop people from picking on him before they have a chance to. That's when he decides to become the Mad Hound.
