Bryce Oh (오범석; Oh Beomseok; "Beomseok Oh") is a minor antagonist in the manhwa Weak Hero during the Stephen Ahn Arc. He was a student at Byuksan Middle School and a former friend of Gray Yeon and Stephen Ahn before becoming a bully. The deterioration of his relationship with Gray and the violent fallout were instrumental in Gray's transfer to Eunjang and the formation of his philosophy as a fighter.
Appearance
In the beginning of the arc, Bryce Oh looked like a normal middle schooler who wasn't a delinquent. He had short, neatly groomed black hair and wore glasses.[1] After he becomes acquainted with Gray Yeon and Stephen Ahn, he starts not wearing his glasses and grooms his hair back. He wears the Byuksan Middle School uniform which consists of a white polo with a dark suit and tie that has the Byuksan logo on the right breast with the shirt untucked. [2]
Personality
Bryce Oh has an inferiority complex towards other people who he deems are more talented than him. At first he was shy and quiet and put in continuous effort to hang out with Gray and Stephen. [3] However after, Bryce becomes more unruly and curses a lot more. He adopts a the more typical bully personality where he starts demeaning others he deems are below him and starts smoking. At the end of the day, Bryce is an ungrateful coward, who causes pain onto others just to mask his own insecurities, and nothing without his friends or possessions.
Plot
Stephen Ahn and Gray Yeon became friends with Bryce Oh when Stephen came up to him in the cafeteria because he realized Bryce was eating alone. Bryce became more acquainted with Gray and Stephen and started feeling inferior to both of them. In fact, Bryce started badmouthing Stephen for being in the lower middle ranks in terms of academics to Gray Yeon. Later he overheard some girls gossiping about how handsome Gray and Stephen were and started feeling sour, leading him to forgo his glasses and start gelling his hair back. Bryce continued to badmouth Stephen's academic ability to his face, leading Stephen to start studying which led him to later get first place while Bryce only got thirteenth place. [4] Bryce's inferiority complex only got worse as he spent more time with Gray and Stephen.
When there was a big assignment that needed to be turned in for a large part of the grade, Bryce Oh had stole the assignment from Gray Yeon. Later he became friends with Oswald Yang because his aunt often bought him legitimate luxury shoes from the U.S. and stops hanging out with Stephen and Gray. [5] He even started bullying Gray and Stephen with Oswald Yang's gang by first goading Oswald to start bullying and hitting Stephen.[6] Later he started the rumor that Gray and Stephen might be romantically involved with each other by starting a group chat with the class and excluding Gray and Stephen from it. [7]
Eventually, he and Oswald's gang dragged Stephen up to the roof where later Stephen was seen falling over, however it was unknown what actually happened. [8] Gray Yeon later beats him up along with Oswald Yang's group in retaliation for what they did to Stephen Ahn. Bryce’s true colors as a coward were finally revealed as while Gray brutally beats him up, he tearfully begs him to stop hurting him, all the while being too scared to look Gray in the eye. Gray beats Bryce unconscious then continues to beat him further to emphasize the former’s immense hatred of the latter for what he did.

Stephen first approached Bryce when he saw him eating alone. Afterwards, Bryce began to hang out with him and Gray. Later on, Bryce began to feel inferior and started badmouthing Stephen for his lower middle ranks in the monthly exam. After Stephen got first place, Bryce's inferiority complex worsened. When he witnessed Stephen giving his paper to Gray, whose paper Bryce had accidentally grabbed, Bryce stayed silent despite Stephen being punished for not having a paper to turn in. Once he had the opportunity to hang out with Oswald Yang and his gang, he lied about Stephen saying bad things about Oswald in order to make him a target. Bryce showed no hesitation in bullying Stephen nor did he show any regret once Stephen fell from the roof and was comatose.

Physical
Bryce Oh isn't good at fighting. He's a floater who sticks to people with power. This lead to his beating from Grey after Stephen was enrolled in the hospital.
Mental
Bryce Oh is not particularly smart. However, he is great at sucking up to those in power and is a natural schemer. [9] He’s also shown to be a pathetic coward after he witnessed Gray having beaten up Oswald and his lieutenant, putting him in a state of shock as he was unable to comprehend what had happened.

- He has an aunt in the States that buys him luxury clothing and shoes if he asks for it.
- Bryce is a foil to Eugene Gale, beginning with similar appearances and temperament but going down opposite paths.
